Terms of Service — The Desk

1. Description of service

The Desk is a workspace you run your working day out of: the people you deal with, the projects you are moving, what you have written down, and — if you run a business — what you sell and what it earns.

You can connect other tools you already use, so that what is in them shows up beside the rest of your work. Connecting anything is optional. The product is fully usable without a single connection, and nothing you connect is required for it to work.

2. User responsibilities

You agree to:

• use the product lawfully
• not misuse or attempt to reverse engineer the system
• provide accurate account information

3. Account and access

• You are responsible for maintaining your account.
• You may disconnect integrations at any time.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which erases your workspace, everything in it, your uploaded files and your sign-in.

4. Payments

The Desk is sold as one subscription. Separately, you may buy a downloadable edition, a one-time Founding Member seat, or an Automations add-on.

• payments are processed via Stripe, and we never hold your card details
• pricing is clearly stated at checkout, and the price you subscribe at is the price you keep for as long as the subscription runs
• a subscription can be cancelled at any time and runs to the end of the period you have paid for; we do not offer trials, because everything up to the paywall is free and unlimited so you know what you are buying — and for that reason sales are final
• lifetime access (e.g. Founding Member) means access for as long as The Desk is operational — we will give you at least 30 days notice before sunsetting a tier or deprecating a paid feature, with a refund or comparable alternative offered

5. No guarantees

The Desk provides insights and recommendations, but:

• we do not guarantee business outcomes
• users are responsible for decisions and actions taken

6. Limitation of liability

The Desk is provided “as is.” We are not liable for:

• lost revenue
• missed opportunities
• indirect damages

7. Termination

We may suspend access if terms are violated.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the product means acceptance of the updated terms.
