Merge PDFs
Drop 2 or more PDFs to combine them into a single file. The order you drop them in is the order they'll appear.
Processed in-memory, files deleted after 15 minutes.
About this PDF merger
Merging PDFs is the everyday paperwork chore โ a contract scanned in three batches, a tax filing where every form is its own file, a portfolio that needs to live as one PDF instead of seven. This tool combines up to 10 PDFs into a single file in the order you drop them. No watermarks, no signup, unlimited use on the free tier.
Uploads run on our server (PDF processing needs more compute than browsers can do reliably). Files are processed in memory and deleted immediately after the merged PDF is returned โ they don't get stored, indexed, or used to train anything. Mission Control raises the size cap to 300 MB total if you regularly work with bigger documents.
Common questions
- What order will the merged PDF be in?
- Whatever order you drop the files in. If you select them via the file picker, that order matches your selection order. Drag-and-drop respects the order they appear in your file system view.
- Are my PDFs uploaded?
- Yes โ PDF merging needs more compute than a browser can do reliably, so the files are sent to our server. They are processed in memory, the merged result is returned, and the originals + merged file are deleted immediately. Nothing is logged or stored.
- What's the size limit?
- Free tier: up to 10 files totaling 60 MB. Mission Control: same 10-file count, but 300 MB total. If you have a 200 MB scan job, sign up for Mission Control or split it into two merges.
- Do I lose anything when PDFs are merged?
- No โ fonts, embedded images, form fields, bookmarks, and metadata from each input PDF are preserved. The only thing that changes is that they live in one file instead of many.
- Why does this not have a watermark?
- Because we don't need to make the tool worse to push you to a paid plan. The free tier is intentionally useful; the paid tier exists for higher size caps and the rest of Moonshot OS โ not as a tax on basic use.
